The University of the Witwatersrand’s Department of Surgery presents this symposium every second year in June. Anmaraté has supported this meeting since 2006 with its presence as an exhibitor.

The Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Association has members involved with the management of diseases of the Liver, Pancreas and Biliary Tree.

Anmaraté supported both HPBASA’s inuagural and its second meeting, held at the Wanderer’s Club in Johannesburg, as an exhibitor-sponsor.

Anmaraté has annually attended the SAGES congress as an exhibitor-sponsor since 2002.

During 2006 SAGES – in association with SASES, SAGINS and the SA Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (SASPEN) – held its annual congress at the Feather Market Centre in Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela Bay.

In 2005 the International Surgical Week (presented by the International Surgical Society) held in Durban, South Africa, from 21 – 25 August 2005 incorporated the ASSA-SAGES congress.

Anmaraté has annually attended the SAGES congress as an exhibitor-sponsor since 2002.

The South African Gastroenterological Society presents a yearly congress, where both academic lectures, society meetings and pharmaceutical industry exhibitions are presented. In 2003 South African Digestive Diseases Week was the theme of this congress.
